I really like Josephine Skriver, but...I just don't like the Victoria's Secret-to-SI-Swimsuit direction of her career. I know I sound like an old curmudgeon (again!), but it's the wrong direction for a model to travel, and to me it goes against the spirit of SI and the "SI Rookie" concept. Needless to say, this type of casting wasn't Jule Campbell's style.
And while I'm on an old-school roll...If you are accustomed to being a Victoria's Secret model and you get cast as an SI Swimsuit model, you should immediately gain like five to seven pounds before the photo shoot. Impressionable teenage boys should not have Ed Razek's sadistic beauty aesthetic rammed down their throats!
