I’ve been getting nostalgic for the old-school models, the 80s ladies who graced the pages of my first swimsuit issues.
A recent commenter reminded me about the Paulina Porizkova swimsuit calendars from the late 80s.
There was one in ’88 and one in ’89. I believe I had them both.

Do models even do their own calendars anymore?
It's not something I see much anymore, it at all. Supermodels who are that level of celebrity may be a thing of the past.
That is an interesting idea.
My gut reaction is almost the opposite, that today's supermodels might think they're above churning out a calendar. It's a different time and perhaps calendars have a stigma attached these days.
I'm little bit confused. I thought these photo were originally for SI. Are they from SI calendar dedicated to Paulina or are they from Paulina's calendar which is not connected to SI?
They're from Paulina-specific calendars, separate from SI.
I'm pretty certain the photos were never associated with SI, but I could be wrong.
Thanks for explanation. I was confused because I found same ohotos on Bellazon and the poster said they were for SI but SI had slightly different style at that time
