I just went back and re-read that letter ... (Or maybe just *read* it for the first time.) It's fun to hear them talk about brand-new model Kathy Ireland, 18-year-old Paulina Porizkova, and the little mound of sand they had to put beneath Kelly's pelvis for her intro shot.

I always liked the Letter from the Editor picture of Kathy Ireland, Kim Alexis and Jean Pelton on a surfboard in front of a Dutch Navy ship myself.
